MYSEA is pleased to announce the successful sale of the 100-foot sailing yacht IKARON, with MYSEA Sales Central Agent Enzo Spata representing the seller. Moravia acted on behalf of the buyer.
Built in aluminium by renowned Dutch shipyard Holland Jachtbouw and designed by Hoek Naval Architects, IKARON was delivered in 2000. She has benefited from several refits and upgrades throughout her lifetime, most recently completed in 2022/23.
IKARON offers accommodation for up to eight guests in a full-beam Master cabin and two Guest cabins, and is professionally operated by a crew of four. Despite her 100-foot length, she is notably easy to handle and can be sailed short-handed, either with two crew or by an owner accompanied by friends. With generous fuel capacity and tankage, IKARON is well suited for long-range cruising. Her current owners successfully completed multiple transoceanic passages, including Atlantic and Pacific crossings. While the cockpit is often the focal point aboard sailing yachts, IKARON’s standout feature is her Main Salon — a spacious and welcoming interior offering a refined retreat from the elements. The craftsmanship and finish are exemplary of a yard renowned for building some of the world’s finest sailing yachts, with teak and other rich woods thoughtfully applied and complemented by carefully selected soft furnishings and detailing. The cockpit remains an inviting outdoor space, featuring two wraparound seating areas, one of which converts into a dedicated lounge — ideal for relaxing under the bimini on sunny days. Additional amenities include a swim platform and Jacuzzi.
